Cellular PVC Brackets and Corbels made from Versatex are a great no rot
alternative to wood. Our
decorative PVC brackets can be custom made almost

look of wood and can easily be screwed, nailed, or glued for stronger
and more secure installation than other materials. Cellular PVC is perfect in that it will hold paint exceptionally well and look like new wood for a long time. Our material is completely water and rot proof. All cellular PVC
brackets are decorative only and for some models the legs are built as
5/8" thick solid hollow channels to slip over cedar wood strips for easy
installation. For structural applications we recommend ordering one of
our rot resistant
cedar wood brackets. Angle braces are made solid PVC for our Craftman Series. All smaller
PVC Corbels are 100% solid throughout and can be installed with construction adhesive or screws, however, for our larger PVC corbels they may be hollow for an easier installation.

How to Install Architectural PVC Brackets
Installing our PVC brackets is simple and straightforward. Simply screw the cedar strips to the wall and slip the bracket right over. This will allow you to screw and attach the PVC bracket from the side. They are for decorative purposes only and should not be used for any type of structural situation where a load bearing bracket is needed. For our solid corbels you can attach them with construction adhesive or using screws and filler.
